Autoshot configuration and operation

Pandora Revolution Scene Change Detector

Autoshot: Revolution in the Room Setup panel.
in the DVNR Setup panel (if you have a non-AGR4 DVNR).

The Revolution Scene Change Detector works in both video and data with an appropriate Revolution/Revo Express.  However, with a Revo Express in Datamode, you must start with an EDL list originally grabbed from the YoYo (usually by hitting Enter).   With all other types of Autoshot (including the PUB rack) you can start with any list.

Press the AUTO key to enable scene detection. Now when playing the source machine in LIVE mode, scenes will be added to the active event list.  If you hold down AUTO the "AUTO" display in the sytem bar will turn red.  This will allow you to add events in PROGRAM or LIVE modes.  Note that with a Revo Express in Datamode, the AUTO display will always be Red and you must always add events in Program mode, since they have to be added to an existing EDL list.

Autoshot timing is used to ensure that the events are marked correctly.
